Labas dienas, dear HP3 braļukas
Some weeks ago I found there is water in my Prelude's ('88 Prelude 4WS 2.0i 16v) taillight, about 2cm deep :D Generally it's funny, to go round with aquarium, but it is reason why brake light blows out. Some buddies in hondaclub.lv recommended me to drill some hole in taillight, to let that water run away.
Had you also experienced such problem? How to prevent it, is drilling the only solution?
In honda-tech.com and google I didn't find such topics.

hi,
drilling a hole in the lamp might help... provided that it's not -10C outside;) anyway - it would only resolve the consequence, but not the original problem. if i were you i would get the entire taillight unit out and examine it for cracks or holes through which the water might be getting in. and in case the moisture accumulates though the bulb holes - well you'll have to insulate those somehow (using some syllycone-based gel or something - BUT DRY THE LIGHTS PROPERLY BEFORE DOING SO). and make sure that your lights arent't cracked first:)

it's me, DimanC
no, I won't buy new lamps. I'll do as user resident recommended, that is the most logical solution! I also prefer solving source problem, but not a consequence.
ačiū!

another thing - check the trunk lid drainage system. maybe it is not properly drained (similar to sun-roof "shower" problem;)) and water accumulates under the lid and futher penetrates into the lights. i think the Prelude manual should have some info on that. in the event you don't have the manual, you can download it from here. the first link is for the entire manual, subsequent links refer to 1989 and 1990 supplements, which you don't care about;)
